All May Classes Will Be Rescheduled

We STILL do not have permits and have to reschedule all classes for the rest of May. Still no word from the building department as to when we can expect to be able to get a permit to build the new bathroom they wanted.

Classes Rescheduled for 5/21, 5/22, & 5/24

No classes will be able to be held this week, as once again we are not open. We still have not received word from the city of Milford when we can get permits to finish our handicapped accessible bathroom. I will keep updating!

Meanwhile, we have won third place in the New Haven Advocates Best Bead Store category. Thank you to all of our loyal customers for voting! It means a great deal to us.

Class Rescheduling 5/14 & 5/17

All classes scheduled for 5/14 & 5/17 are going to have to be rescheduled. We will contact anyone registered for classes on those dates, personally. Once we have an official open date we will begin adding dates back onto the schedule (based on student's schedules who are already registered).

We are making progress in getting closer into being able to open. We are finally going to be able to get permits so the contractors can continue the construction of the new handicapped accessible bathroom. Hopefully sometime next week that will be finished so we can move onto other construction.

Delay in Opening

Due to construction delays to make our shop handicapped accessible, we will not be opening this Friday, May 9th as planned. We do not have an open date as of yet, but hope to be able to open within the next couple of weeks. Please check back here often for any updates about our re-opening.

For all classes scheduled for the next couple of weeks, if we need to reschedule your class we will be notifying you personally. In the event a class cannot run on the originally scheduled date, the class will be rescheduled to fit into your schedule. No classes will be cancelled.

All expiration dates on coupons will be extended for an extra 30 days.

We are checking store voice mails and emails. If you liked to call and leave us a message, or send an e-mail, we will try to respond to you as quickly as possible.

Meanwhile, we've been very busy ordering lots of new beads & we can't wait to show you all the goodies!

Officially Moved, but not open yet!

We have officially closed our New Haven Avenue location last Saturday and have completely moved from there last night. You wouldn't believe the amount of misc. beads we found during the move! I guess I could always throw them all together and make sort of a bead soup!

It was sad to see the old store closed, but it is so exciting to be in the new space at 51 River St. We can't wait to open and show everyone what a beautiful store it is!

We are currently working on a lot of construction at the space: new floors, paint, bathroom, etc. We are getting delayed with all the work, and will keep everyone posted if we need to delay our opening. When dealing with contractors and inspectors and all others involved, things can sometimes seem to progress slowly.

We're also busy getting more inventory in and making lots of new jewelry and examples for the shop!

Keep checking our posts for updates and if we do have to deal opening, we will be sending out an email.

We're Moving!

We are so excited to announce that we are going to be expanding our shop and moving to a new location in downtown Milford! The new address is 51 River St and we will be opening on May 9th. We will be closing our current location on April 26th.

Our new, bigger shop will have a sectioned off classroom for classes & parties! And lots more room for new beads! We will also be featuring a lot more jewelry, handmade by myself, Kira Nelson, and Pat Roof.

If there is anything you think you may need, please remember to stop in before April 26th!

Also, our new class schedule comes out on Tuesday, so watch for that as well!

Still busy stocking & Contest Winners

We've been keeping busy stocking the store with lots of new stuff! This week we received 50 new seed bead colors! Also, copper spacers, findings, clasps, and chain! And brand new spacers in silver & gold.

And don't forget to come in and check out all the new sterling items!

Within the next couple of weeks we have coming in a huge shipment of semi-precious stones & even more spacers.

And we are busy working on the next class schedule for May & June which will be available April 15th, I know it's tax day, but who wants to think about that, think about beading instead, :-)
